I can’t believe my sister is turning 40 today! It doesn’t sound so “old” anymore – maybe because I am not that far away! Haha! Tonight she is going to the American Idol concert with Michael, Audrey and Frank! How fun! Say hi to David Cook for me! Have a great day!
Behind the houses across the street is a lake, and there are lots of ducks. One of the mama ducks had her babies, and there are 20! They are soooo cute! Two are yellow and the rest are darker. We see the adults a lot and always have bread on hand to feed them, but this was a surprise! Gerry took these yesterday across the street, and they came to our driveway today. I loved feeding them and Jack gets excited when he sees them!
Gosh, time flies sooooo fast. I remember the day Paige and Hailey were born like it was yesterday, and now they are starting kindergarten! Their school is on trimesters, which is why they are starting so soon in the summer. Today was the first time they rode on a school bus, and Shelley said they did great. Their district picks up each kindergartener at their house! No waiting at the bus stop in the snow for them! Paige has Mrs. Volentine and Hailey has Mrs. Voss.

Jack got a new ride-on truck, and he LOVES to drive it around the house!
Yes, a camel! The Miami Metro Zoo now has camel rides! We went to the zoo on Sunday with Jack’s friend Arya from daycare and his parents. Gerry and Jack rode on the camel with Arya and Krish while Shyla (Arya’s mom) and I watched! Gerry really wanted to do this so I am glad they got the chance. I don’t think Jack knows what to make of it! ha!

Here’s the video of Jack in the ocean for the first time. After he warmed up to the idea, he loved it. He calls the water droplets “bubbles”
Grandma bought Jack a drum, and he loves it. He has this one at daycare and at My Gym, and he really enjoys playing it, so we got him one. He is singing “La Bamba” in this video! He learned it at daycare! Maybe one day he’ll be a rock star!
