I keep forgetting to post that Shelley officially is having another girl! We are so excited! She due at the end of February, so stay tuned…
Pumpkin Patch October 22, 2007
On Saturday we went to the pumpkin patch to get Jack’s first Halloween pumpkin. We went to The Little Farm, which was really cute. As you can see from the photos, there was a little area with animals for the kids to pet. It’s a real farm that mostly has school groups, and there were horses, pigs, chickens, goats, sheep, etc. Jack had so much fun. It was really warm so we did his “no helmet” time at the pumpkin patch.
We Have a Tooth!!!! October 20, 2007
Yeah! Jack cut his first tooth yesterday! He didn’t even give us any signs – no drooling, crying or fussiness. It’s his lower right tooth. Soooooo cute. We tried to get a picture, but since it’s just popping through it’s hard to see…especially since his tongue usually is in the way! Our big boy!
Goal!!!! October 20, 2007
After 5 months, I finally reached my goal at Weight Watchers! Whooo whoooo! In total I lost 32 pounds! I feel great and am so proud of myself! Now I go on maintainence. I have to maintain my weight for 6 weeks without going more than 2 pounds over and then I am a “Lifetime Member” – which means I don’t have to pay 
Jack is 9 months today! October 18, 2007
Jack is 9 months today! He’s doing great and such a happy baby. This past week we started meat. We tried turkey last month and he hated it. On Monday we started chicken, and he’s eaten it every day. I grind it up and mix it in with his veggies. Yum (or yuck if you’re a vegetarian like me!)! He’s finally on a good nap schedule at daycare, so he’s taking two good solid naps a day rather then three so-so naps. He’s still saying “da da” a lot and I think he’s saying “Ella” although it sounds like “lell lell”. We’ll get “ma ma” out of him one day soon! Peter arrives tonight for 4 nights – yippee! Saturday we’re going to the pumpkin patch, so look for those pictures on the blog soon.

Here’s a really cute pic of Jack that I took Saturday night just before bed (during his hour off from his helmet). As you can see, his hair is finally growing! I love the color (strawberry blonde that his more red than blonde), and everywhere we go people say “I know where he got his hair color.” If only they knew how much I pay – haha! Gerry comes home in 2 days. Yeah! He’s been gone since last Monday. Well, time to wash bottles!

Here’s another new toy! He loves his xylophone-piano. He grabbed the sticks and was banging away. I think we have a future drummer on our hands! Notice the tongue sticking out of the mouth. That’s an Ellis trait! His daddy does the same thing when he’s concentrating.

Here is the toy I mentioned in a previous post. He LOVES it! When you hit the different instruments, it’s adds that sound to the music/song. I like the drums and guitar, but the piano and trumpet are cute too! And the microphone is like a rattle. So fun!
